We can apply for angling permits on your behalf if you advise us when making your reservation – the quite minimal cost to be paid upon your arrival.
Definitely worth it and within driving distance are the monasteries of Alcobaça, Batalha and Tomar or the medieval town of Obidos.
A day trip by train or car to Lisbon with its rich history is also available from Monte Redondo. (train station). The beautiful town of Aveiro with its salt flats and gondolas you must also have seen.
Ornithology – this is an excellent area for bird watching, being located on the migratory routes and in a varied geographical area.
